Frequently Asked Questions
How GoNoGo Weather works.
Effective June 27, 2026 · Version 2026-06-27
What does a GO / CAUTION / NO-GO verdict mean?
It’s a quick read on whether current and forecast conditions fall inside the limits you set. GO means conditions are within your thresholds, CAUTION means one or more factors are marginal, and NO-GO means at least one factor exceeds your limit. It is decision support, not permission or an instruction. The final call is always yours.
Where does the weather data come from?
From official public sources: the National Weather Service / NOAA for marine and outdoors conditions, and aviationweather.gov for METARs, TAFs, and related aviation products. Data can be delayed or inaccurate, so always cross-check official forecasts and warnings before you go.
Is this a substitute for an official forecast or briefing?
No. GoNoGo Weather is a fast personal gut-check, not a replacement for NWS/NOAA forecasts and marine warnings, an FAA weather briefing, NOTAMs, or your own training and judgment. See our Terms for the full safety notice.
How do my personal limits work?
You set thresholds for the factors that matter to your boat, aircraft, or activity (wind, waves, ceiling, crosswind, heat, air quality, and so on). The verdict is measured against your numbers, so it reflects your equipment, experience, and risk tolerance rather than a generic preset.
Why are Marine, Aviation, and Outdoors sold separately?
Most people use one of them. Rather than make a boater pay for aviation features they’ll never open, each vertical is its own subscription, so you only pay for what you use. If you want more than one, the All-Access Bundle covers all three. During a trial you can try all three before deciding.
What do you do with my data and location?
We use your location to fetch conditions for that spot and your profile to personalize verdicts. We don’t sell your data or use advertising trackers. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues through the end of the current paid period.
