This Privacy Policy explains how FrankVenture LLC(“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with GoNoGo Weather(the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. The Service is intended for users 18 and older.

• Account information you provide: name or display name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Profile and limits: your boat, aircraft, or activity profile and the threshold limits you set, plus saved locations, home port/airport, and planned destinations.
• Location you enter or share to fetch a forecast (coordinates, airport codes, or place names). We use it to retrieve conditions for that spot.
• Usage and device data: basic logs, the pages and features you use, and, if you consent, privacy-respecting product analytics.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the Service: generate verdicts, save your profile and locations across sessions.
• To operate your account and process subscription payments.
• To send transactional email (account, security, billing) and, if you opted in, product updates and tips.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in across sessions, browser local storage to remember your preferences on your device, and, only with your consent, privacy-respecting analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details and your choices.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contract and only as needed: our hosting/infrastructure provider, weather data providers (National Weather Service / NOAA, aviationweather.gov), our email provider, our analytics provider (if you consent), and our payment processor (which handles card data; we do not store full card numbers). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

What we do not do: we do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

5. Data Retention and Security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method is perfectly secure.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us or via account settings.
• Unsubscribe from product/marketing email at any time using the link in those emails.
• Manage cookie/analytics consent via the cookie banner or your browser settings.
• Depending on where you live (e.g. California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or port your data and to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Email Communications

We send transactional messages necessary to operate your account and the Service. We send product updates, conditions tips, and similar marketing only if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
